WE GIVE A SH*T ABOUT GABON.
Oh, and gorilla's too.
8-day guided expedition through Gabon
Train from Liberville to Booue
Stay in a Catholic Mission in Makokou
Trip along the River Ivindo to Kangou Falls
Trek & stay at Langoue Bai
Visit to local Baka Pygmy community
Its dense rainforests, open savannah, white-sand beaches, rushing rivers & ethereal landscapes have created a paradisiacal adventure expedition in a predominantly unexplored part of Africa.
Hop aboard the train from Liberville with us & explore Africa’s last Eden – pygmies, forest elephants, & Africa’s great apes await. With an impressive 11.25% of the country proclaimed as national parkland, Gabon is home to the 3 highest waterfalls in Central Africa and offers a spectacular array of wildlife.
The latest discovery of a brand new bai (a clearing in the forest where an array of animals congregate) at Langoue offers an opportunity to view wild animals from elevated miradors (platforms) that rise above the forest, where we will also engage with researchers.
This expedition through Gabon is one of our first; join us on our recce as our adventure that takes place on foot, by boat, by train and in 4WD vehicles. Adventurers must be ready to rough it on this expedition - It’s all part of the fun, we promise.
The truth is, we should all give a sh*t.
About the environment. About each other. About experiences that have integrity.
It's a bold stance to take in any industry - to care about the impact of every air mile, to look at data intelligently and honestly, and to use our profits for purpose.
WE DONATE R200 ON BEHALF OF EVERY EXPLORER TO
DO MORE. We support local initiatives in the regions we work in. Our end game is to make sure that we are developing responsible tourism practises. It takes a (global) village to make real change, but just one person to help another. So drop the judgments and HUG IT OUT.
WE ALSO GIVE A SH*T ABOUT VIRUNGA.
